Here are some specifications for the recently announced HTC Touch Diamond2.  Some improvements need to exist in order to get people to purchase the device.

• A larger screen at 3.2 inches
• A new touch sensitive zoom bar
• An updated TouchFLO 3D
• Improved battery performance
• A 5 megapixel autofocus camera (still no flash)

Will this be enough to get recent HTC Touch Diamond purchasers to switch?

We are two patches away from the meta goal of building from trunk. The tools changes have review from dougt, and are waiting for review from ted, who has promised review by the end of the week. NSPR changes are waiting for review from Nelson, who asked for and received a patch against NSPR trunk

And to top it off it’s recharge only takes 10 minutes. Shelby SuperCars is going for the “World’s Fastest Production Car” title with it’s Ultimate Aero EV. The car will go from 0 - 60mph in 2.5 seconds. That’s a whole 1.4 seconds faster than Tesla Roadster’s 3.9 seconds.

What powers the Aero EV? SSC has designed an All-Electric Scalable Powertrain (AESP) system which produces 1,000 HP and 800 lb-ft of torque. WOW! The Ultimate Aero EV tops out at 208mph.

Also to note is that the SSC have built a “Charge on the Run” onboard charging system. This system is what will allow their car to charge in a mere 10 minutes on a 220V service.

All About Symbian have got their hands on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (Tube) and have put up a pretty lengthy review. The 5800 is device that has been talked about for a long time, with lots of leaked information, and it has finally come to light.

• Sensors

Overall the device looks slick and seems like it will be a hit. How it stands up against the iPhone and the HTC Touch HD though we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m still not fully sold on no keyboard but I would be willing to try this one out.

I have to say, the HTC Touch HD looks like one gorgeous device. As CNET UK put it, it’s the device that Android should have launched on.

What makes the device so good? It’s high resolution display, 480 x 800, and it has a 3.5mm head phone jack - woot woot!
