Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Gets Handled and Reviewed

Written by SCRIBLD Writer on November 5, 2008 – 9:35 am -

All About Symbian have got their hands on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (Tube) and have put up a pretty lengthy review. The 5800 is device that has been talked about for a long time, with lots of leaked information, and it has finally come to light.

There review takes a look at the following:

  • General Design and Hardware
  • Connectivity, Battery, Memory
  • Touch
  • Sensors

Overall the device looks slick and seems like it will be a hit. How it stands up against the iPhone and the HTC Touch HD though we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m still not fully sold on no keyboard but I would be willing to try this one out.

Head over to All About Symbian to read the full review.

We’re still awaiting it’s release in North America as the AT&T Fuze. But mainly the release of the HTC Touch Pro with North American 3G. Here’s to hoping that it comes out soon. Until then here’s a video of the device - a quick getting started.

Your naked body on an Airport Scanner!

Written by domainsatretail on October 24, 2008 – 10:19 am -

So this could be you at an European Airport that you may visit! I was on Yahoo just a minute ago, and seen this article about Airport scanners. Here’s a link to the article:
EU MPs concerned by airport full-body scanners

Apparently, they are now putting in Airport scanner systems that reveal your entire body onto the screen for the operator to see to check for knifes and other objects. Now its not a crisp image, and operators would see hundreds of people a day, but what are you thoughts? In the image above, you can see the knife.

What are your thoughts on this? Invasion of your rights or a good idea for security? Would you feel comfortable?
